Priscilla Choukroun is a state certified Physician Assistant who graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master of Medical Medicine in Physician Assistant studies. Priscilla grew a passion for health care, due to her having limited access to health care. She started her career in Neurosurgery at the Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in South Carolina. Although she enjoyed Neurosurgery, Priscilla felt the need, as a new PA, to focus on general medicine which lead her to her 5 years in an urgent care setting. Outside of work, Priscilla enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband outside.
A message from Priscilla, “I have up to 5 years of urgent care/family medicine experience and I absolutely love this area of medicine because It allows me to appreciate every age and stage of life. While practicing primary care, it is so important to teach preventative medicine. I am a firm believer of educating my patients on their daily health to avoid complications and reduce their healthcare cost.”
Melody graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2020 with a Master of Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked in a rural family practice clinic outside of Houston prior to moving to Troup. She is from Vernon, Texas, a small town in northwest Texas, where she grew up in a third generation farming family. Melody enjoys rural primary care because she feels she relates well to the patients and finds joy in keeping them healthy. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her two daughters, Cash (age 10) and Mackenzie (age 2). Her hobbies include vinyl crafting, gardening, and traveling.
